Beginning whenever Alberta’s Health Statutes Amendment Act, Education Amendment Act and Fairness and Safety in Sport Act come into force (expected to be in early 2025), I may be able to provide you with legal advice and assistance if you are:
an Albertan whose doctor has recommended gender-affirming care but who cannot access it due to the new law;
an Albertan K-12 student who is not being allowed to use the name and pronouns that are consistent with your gender identity; or
an Albertan (of any age) who is being prevented from to participating in a sport because of their gender identity.
